Do I need Geomagic Design X if I already have Artec Studio?
Artec Studio is enough to take a scan to a mesh you can 3D print. Design X is for proper reverse engineering, turning the scan into editable, parametric CAD with the feature tree intact, which it can send live to SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX and Inventor. Geomagic Design X
Which edition of Geomagic Design X do I need?
Design X comes in three editions: Go, Plus and Professional, each sold as an annual subscription or a lifetime licence. If you are not sure which one fits, we will match an edition to your parts in a demonstration. Ask for a demonstration
How is Geomagic Control X licensed?
Control X comes as Essentials, Essentials Connect and Professional. Essentials and Essentials Connect are sold as lifetime licences only, while Professional is available as an annual subscription or a lifetime licence.
What is the difference between a subscription and a lifetime licence?
A subscription is renewed each year. The Artec Studio and Geomagic subscriptions we sell are annual. A lifetime licence is a single payment.
Can I buy Artec Studio Lite from you?
No. Artec Studio Lite is sold by Artec direct, not through resellers, so the version we sell is Artec Studio Pro. Artec Studio
Do I need my own SOLIDWORKS licence for Geomagic for SOLIDWORKS?
Yes. Geomagic for SOLIDWORKS runs inside your own SOLIDWORKS licence, so you can work on the scan without leaving the CAD seat your engineers already use. You can ask us for a trial first. Geomagic for SOLIDWORKS
Why can I not buy PolyWorks, Kreon Zenith or WrapStyler online?
They are quoted rather than sold off the shelf. InnovMetric sell PolyWorks by package, so we quote on the modules your inspection needs. Zenith is quoted with your Kreon arm plus the training your team needs. WrapStyler is quoted on the licence and training your work needs. Request a price
