E57, LAS and LAZ as standard, plus RCP where the project is Autodesk-based. Clouds can be georeferenced against your control and decimated to whatever your software can carry. Surveying and mapping
Do you produce the Revit or BIM model as well?
No. We scope scan to BIM as reality capture and hand the registered point cloud to your modelling team. If you have no modelling team, we will introduce you to one. Scan to BIM
How accurate does my scanner need to be?
Only as accurate as the job needs. Metrology-grade kit such as Point II, the Kreon arms or V-Track costs more than visual-grade kit such as Leo and Eva. Pay for the accuracy your work actually uses. Find your scanner
Should we buy a scanner, hire one or have you do the scanning?
All three are options: buy the kit with UK training and support from us, hire it for the job, or send us the site so we capture it. Which is cheaper depends on how often you will do the work again. We will tell you honestly. Scanner hire
How quickly will I get a scanner recommendation?
Tell us what you are scanning, how big it is, the accuracy you need and what you need out the other end, with a photo if you can. An engineer will come back with a recommendation, usually the same working day. Talk to a specialist
