The real thing, made digital
Visual effects start from the real thing: the prop, the vehicle, the set and the actor. Scanning gives the VFX team accurate geometry with colour to build digital doubles, extend sets and track effects to.
We scanned for EasyJet’s advert with MPC. Our portfolio runs from a Skyfall dragon and actors to whole vehicles. Handheld scanners are quick enough to capture a performer between takes, while LiDAR takes the set or the location.

FAQ
If yours is not here, ring 0330 229 0175 and ask for the scanning team.
Not answered here?
Ask the engineers who run the machines. We answer the same working day.
Can you work on location?
Yes. The handheld scanners are battery powered and the Leo needs no laptop, so we can work wherever the unit is.
How long does an actor need to stand still?
Seconds to a few minutes, depending on detail. Faces and hands get a second, closer pass.
Tell us what needs scanning
A photo, a rough size and what you need out of it. We will come back with a fixed price and a date, and if scanning is not the right answer, we will say so.
