Which scanner brands do you sell?
Artec 3D handheld, desktop and LiDAR scanners. Kreon arm-based laser scanners and measuring arms, plus the INSVISION V-Track optically tracked scanner. We are a Gold Certified Artec partner. We sell and support the full Artec range in the UK.
Which scanner suits the size of my object?
For small, detailed parts look at the Artec Spider II, or the Micro II desktop scanner for very small objects such as jewellery and dental work. The Eva and Leo suit medium to large objects such as busts, car parts, furniture or people. The Ray II and Jet LiDAR scanners cover vehicles, buildings or whole sites.
How do I work out which scanner I need?
Our scanner finder asks four questions to narrow the range to a shortlist. Send us the answers, with a photo if you can. An engineer will come back with a recommendation, usually the same working day. Find your scanner
Can I see a scanner working on my own parts before I buy?
Yes. We run demonstrations on your own parts at our site or at yours, so you can judge the results before you commit.
Can I hire a scanner instead of buying one?
The Artec Leo, Eva and Spider can be hired by the day or week, delivered anywhere in the UK with a laptop running Artec Studio. Ray II, Spider II and Point II hires are available on request. If you go on to buy, we offset the hire charges against the scanner. 3D scanner hire
Do you offer training on the scanners?
Yes. We run courses on Artec Studio, Artec Twins, Kreon arms with Zenith as well as the Geomagic software, at our Cheshire facility or on your site, with up to three people included. Training courses
Do you offer education pricing for universities and colleges?
Yes. We supply Artec education packages built around the Leo, Spider II, Eva, Point II, Micro II or Ray II to UK universities, colleges and schools. Each includes a lifetime Artec Studio licence and two years of upgrades, with two years of Artec Care on the Leo, Spider II and Eva. Every package's price, ex VAT, is on the education page. What support do I get after I buy?
We are based in Cheshire. We deliver and set up the scanner, then train your team. We give technical help by phone and email. Warranty claims are handled through us rather than overseas.
