Scanned on the Solutionix · Natural specimens
Helicopter — an acer seed, captured on the Solutionix. Natural objects are the hardest test a scanner gets: fine, irregular, often translucent and impossible to hold still. Nothing about them is a known shape.

The Solutionix is a desktop scanner with a motorised turntable: the object goes on, the machine works round it and merges the passes itself. For small parts that need to be captured the same way every time, taking the operator out of it is the accuracy.
Send a photograph and roughly what you need out of it — a mesh, a CAD model, an inspection report, or the finished part. An engineer looks at it and comes back with a price and a lead time, usually the same working day.
Ring the office and ask — somebody who runs the machines will pick up and answer it properly.
Upload the file to the instant quote, choose the material and see the price straight away.
Sprays, targets, calibration plates and printed spares, out of Cheshire the same day if you order before 3pm.
