Ram Sculpture, captured on the Artec Spider. Artists and model makers come to us with something that already exists and has to survive being copied, scaled or cast. The surface is the work, so nothing that flattens it is any use.

Spider trades working volume for resolution. Blue structured light picks up sharp edges, thin walls and surface texture that a general-purpose scanner rounds off, which is why it goes on the small, intricate things where the detail is the point.
Send a photograph and roughly what you need out of it — a mesh, a CAD model, an inspection report, or the finished part. An engineer looks at it and comes back with a price and a lead time, usually the same working day.
Ring the office and ask — somebody who runs the machines will pick up and answer it properly.

Sprays, targets, calibration plates and printed spares, out of Whitchurch the same day if you order before 3pm.
