The blue laser enables 3D scanning of difficult surfaces such as shiny machined metal, while the 250,000 point per second data collection means that small or thin walled features can be captured sharply and accurately. A 10 micron accuracy also ensures the highest level of certainty in demanding engineering applications where it is important to capture down to the micron level.
